The UAB is reaching out to share about their new study with 8–10-year-olds with a diagnosis of a reading disorder (e.g., dyslexia). Participants will receive compensation of up to $100 for their participation.
More about the study:
They are testing Engage, a new video game made to help children ages 8–10 with reading disorders (e.g., dyslexia). The goal is to see how easy and helpful it is for families to use the game at home. Families will complete 30 short game sessions across 6–8 weeks, with caregiver surveys and optional focus groups. By participating in or spreading this study, you can support research to improve focus and reading skills for children with learning challenges.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to them by email (CAS-Engage@uab.edu).
